GOLD Award product presentation EventoPlus – BMW – Motor Munich conquers the sky 2012
“A helicopter unloads the new BMW 3 Series at the door of the W Hotel in Barcelona, where Motor Munich (Official Dealer in Sabadell and Terrassa and the oldest in the province of Barcelona) celebrated with its customers the arrival of the sixth generation of the sedan.
For the organization of this presentation Motor Munich hired the services of Bacus Events who prepared a spectacular air show, with the presence of a helicopter and the world record-man in para motoring, thus welcoming the new BMW 3 Series at the W Hotel of
Barcelona.
This is what the EventoPlus press release announced to the world after the Bacus Events team received the award for the best product presentation of 2012″.

BRONZE Award for Best Catering Application EventoPlus -Siris Capital Wine Tasting 2014
Taking advantage of the celebration of MWC 2014, Siris Capital Group held a Wine Tasting at Casa Batlló that hosted about 240 people, senior executives from around the world. One of the major difficulties of the event was to offer something that would surprise guests accustomed to the best.
For the second consecutive year, a selection of great Spanish and Catalan wines was made, all of them served in magnum format. We offered guests the opportunity to
Tasting 40 great wines from different DOs paired with the spectacular CalBlay catering and the incomparable setting of Casa Batlló.
Every corner of the house offered different elements in terms of signage, decoration and branding according to the event and the brand. In the outdoor area, there was a station with selected cognacs and brandies and a cigar station with a professional in the sector.
The 14 stations between wines (8) and food (4) brandies and cognacs (1) and cigars (1) were spread throughout the house from the terrace to the patio, thus achieving the flow of guests through all the spaces that the client demanded.
Casa Batlló was the only event of the year that closed the museum at 15.00 in order to have the entire setup finished at 17.00 for the previous inspection by the client and to open the doors at 18.00h. The impact on this second edition was so high that the client already confirmed us the same format for 2015 and within a month had received more than 500 requests to attend the next edition, as the exclusivity of this event resonated in all MWC conversations.
In terms of networking relations, expectations were met as the operations and contacts required by the client were exceeded by 310%.
The biggest challenge of the event lies in the short time for the assembly on the one hand and on the other hand to improve and surprise the guests (many repeat every year) without changing the basic format.
SILVER award best decoration and BRONZE award best convention EventoPlus -Media Markt 2018.
Mediamark had to present its new marketing and communication campaign to all managers in Spain and Portugal and its main objective was to make them feel the claim “We All Want Everything”, having the handicaps of doing something spectacular, that surprises and transmits the values of the campaign, in addition to having to do the event in its logistics warehouse in Pinto – with many limitations and zero attraction.
We created a dynamic where each manager had to answer 4 questions: Where do you want to be now? What do you want to eat now? What do you want to do now? What do you want to hear now?
Located in a projection cube-type room, seated around a circular stage and 360º projections.
A mentalist MC guided them to the final moment where it was time to live the final number, where 4 managers took out 4 papers and following the claim: We all want everything, the 4 resulting answers were scenographies created behind the 4 walls of the cube.
Having a real beach to relax on, a streetmarket to revel in, a casino to have fun in, and ending with a concert with the “I want it All” campaign song.
4 scenografíasocultas unveiled that MM delivers what they asked for in a wow moment.
We managed to make all managers live the claim: We all want everything.
Demonstrating how what they had requested after a full day of meetings, Mediamark made it happen.
With 4 simple questions with their 4 answers, they became reality as they unveiled each wall of the room and discovered what they had asked for: to be on a real beach, enjoy world food, play in a casino and listen to Queen’s “I want it all”.
It was rated as having surpassed previous events and being exactly what they were looking for to convey the claim.
And above all, it generates a Wow effect by having achieved a spectacular result in a very attractive space such as a logistics warehouse in Pinto.
BRONZE Awards best event celebration and best show and entertainment EventoPlus – Wallbox Attack 2022
Wallbox comes to us to produce the company’s summer party. A recreational event for 1,000 people to bring all workers together.
The main objective: to thank the team for their efforts and to transmit the company’s values through the concept of the event. Communicate to your employees that, with effort, passion and dedication, they are capable of achieving their goals.the event was to be a surprise, the attendees did not even know the location of the party or the theme. We had to convey the company’s message culminating in an unexpected party where a different environment was revealed under the Wallbox Attacks concept.
To implement the message, 2 phases were created:
Phase 1: Cocktail dinner with entertainment. A helicopter landed at the facility, offloading three Wallbox chargers to its VIP guests. A corporate video was broadcasted where the company’s trajectory was visualized, making a parallelism with the values of the Olympics. At the end, an athlete appeared with an Olympic torch and the lighting of the cauldron was reproduced with the same goalkeeper from 1992, Antonio Rebollo.
Phase 2: The fire of the cauldron gave way to the uncovering of the access tunnel to the festival. A portal to another dimension under the name of Wallbox Attacks: attendees conquered another dimension. The wallboxers enjoyed a party with international DJs, characters and an atmosphere worthy of another planet.
The attendees had no idea of the event that awaited them. They received a save the date with the date and place of pick-up. The surprise of all participants was key to generate a unique energy.
The impact was absolute, the older ones were thrilled to recall the 92 Games and the younger ones went crazy when they crossed the portal to another dimension and saw how the white buildings were dyed green and were greeted by interactive characters that took them to a madness of party and music.
We managed to unite two very different concepts in an event where they fit perfectly.
Interview with the founder of Bacus Events – Manel Huertas Vidal
The following is the last interview to our CEO Manuel Huertas by AEVEA in December 2022.
1-How would you define your agency? Specialties, strengths, values…
Proximity to the customer and our suppliers. Caring for them and listening to them is the path to excellence. The importance we give to the presentation of the projects both in the detail of the content and in the speed of the presentation.
Our specialty is the creation of concepts and the creation of ideas, we refuse to be a mere production company that offers a catalog of options to choose from. Everything must have a reason and a reason to be at the event.
Our main value is to never lie and on the other hand my maxim is:
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT ENTERS IN BACUS IS A CUSTOMER (without him we don’t exist)
WHO MAKES US GREAT IS MY TEAM (they are Bacus)
OUR PARTNERS HAVE THE SOLUTION (it is the suppliers who give us the solutions).
2- What are your objectives in the company? How far do you want to go?
Our main objective is excellence in creativity and execution. And we want to get to that place where a job well done is reflected in the smiles of the attendees. Now seriously, don’t grow to be bigger, grow to be stronger. Better events, more powerful, more creative and, of course, with a bigger budget.
3- Can you tell us synthetically about a recent event that your agency has organized that you are proud of? Objective, description of the concept and achievement of results.
The presentation of the Photo Awards of Futbol Club Barcelona, being chosen by the club when it has its own suppliers, that they came to look for us, that they approved our idea and that the event was a success is a source of satisfaction and pride. The objective was to present the awards worldwide to press and VIPs, the concept was to relate photography and sport through animations (human statues in gold, silver and bronze of classic athletes and photographers) and a glass photocall showing the cover of a magazine (see photo attached), the presentation by personalities and a final show before the cocktail where art and sport were combined. Trio of violins, Trio of combined forces, lyric singer and Speed painting showing the final figure of the trio of combined forces. All this simultaneously in 6 minutes and three stages.

4- What event would you like to do in the immediate future? What event do you dream of?
Our job is not to dream up our events. It is to make our customers’ dreams come true.
Having customers who are bold enough to test us with challenges that bring out the best in us.
5-What do you expect from AEVEA?
May he not change and continue to work in the way he does.
6-What can you contribute to the association?
From the utmost humility and from this small agency, we can contribute our grain of sand to grow.
7-What message would you send to the sector?
Never accept a client who gives you a project created by someone else.
Agencies compete for clients, but we must collaborate with each other.
Never forget that competition does not exist, competition itself exists.
