MOTOR MUNICH – Presentation BMW S3

Creative idea

Under the slogan “Motor Munich Conquers the Sky” a BMW S3 flew over the beaches of Barcelona hanging from a Helicopter, and arriving at the Hotel for its subsequent presentation at night. At the same time and under the official brand slogan “Alma de Ganador”, an exclusive video was created for the event and presentation of the three product ranges.

The video was created by merging images from BMW’s advertising campaign, the morning flight of the car and impact images, all without showing the full vehicle at any point, which was finally presented by uncovering the three BMW S3 ranges on display in the W Hotel lounge.

Challenge

Flight and recording of the vehicle, for which it was necessary to hire two helicopters and a video and photography team for extreme sports, special insurance and permits from different institutions for the development of the project.

The success of the event was such that five hours before the event it was necessary to hire adjoining rooms and double the catering, as the number of guests increased from 250 to 550.

The collaboration of the W Hotel was decisive in incorporating all the last minute confirmations.

Result

The impact of the event on the notoriety of the client was such that one year later the video of the event continues to be one of the most viewed on the network and the brand itself internationally considered the presentation as the best of the brand that year.

The BMW S3 Presentation for Motormunich has won the Eventoplus 2013 Award for the best Product Presentation in 2012.
