Frequently asked questions
What marketing directors ask before hiring.
The budget for a corporate event depends on the format, number of attendees, venue and level of technical production. The B2B projects Bacus produces range from the mid-to-high bracket (internal conventions, smaller launches) up to award-winning productions with more than a thousand attendees. The right way to answer is to send you a detailed proposal after a brief: client, approximate date, number of attendees, event objective and city. We respond within 24 business hours.
For corporate conventions of more than 200 attendees we recommend starting the brief a minimum of three months in advance. For product launches, congresses and formal galas the reasonable lead time is four to six months. For more operational events (team building, company lunches) we also work with shorter timelines of 4–6 weeks if the diary allows. The earlier we start, the more options you will have for venue, dates and technical production.
Full production means Bacus handles the project from start to finish: creative concept, venue search and booking, space design and set, technical production (sound, video, lighting, simultaneous translation), supplier management (catering, furniture, AV, artists), logistics coordination, attendee management (registration, transport, hospitality), on-the-day direction and professional post-event documentation. You hand over the brief; we hand back the produced event.
An events production company typically executes what it receives (technical setup, AV, logistics). An agency like Bacus Events works from the creative concept, defines the format, proposes a narrative and directs the experience creatively. At Bacus we combine both layers under one roof: creative direction and executive production in the same brief from day one. We do not subcontract the client conversation: the team that designs the event is the same team that delivers it.
Yes. Although the studio is based at Carrer de Sardenya 83 (Barcelona), Bacus produces events across Spain and internationally according to client needs. We have produced events in Madrid, Valencia, Seville, the Basque Country, Lisbon and other European destinations. When a client needs an event outside Barcelona, we direct the project from the studio and deploy trusted local production in each destination.
First contact: you tell us about the event (format, approximate date, attendees, objective, city, indicative budget). Initial meeting: we go deeper into the brief and answer questions. Initial proposal within two weeks: concept, venue options, proposed format, detailed budget by block. Iterations until a firm proposal is agreed. Production and event delivery. Post-event documentation: summary video, metrics and digital asset handover.
All photos in the project archive are from the real event produced by Bacus, with a verifiable client and date. We do not use renders, we do not use stock images and we do not dress other people's events with our own branding. If a case appears in the archive, we produced it. When the Eventoplus medal appears, it is because the industry jury recognised that specific piece of work, not the general track record.
